In Covid Isolation?  There’s help


With Covid lockdowns gone but Covid variants still around, it’s possible you, or others in your unit could contract Covid and need to isolate and recover. 


If you do, call the Concierge so any mail of grocery deliveries can be taken up to your door. While you recover, this also reduces the risk of transmission to others in common areas, including in the lift or gym.

Do you need help to evacuate?   


If an emergency occurs most of us are able to respond and make our way down the fire stairs, others find this difficult.  


If someone in your unit has issues with their vision, hearing, mobility, cognitive or other conditions that would pose difficulty to get out safely, please let the Concierge know.


In an emergency, the Fire team identifies priority floors and who to assist to evacuate safely. 


Advise the Concierge if someone in your unit should be on this list.

Council Cleanup Dates 2024


Every two weeks, North Sydney Council has a free service for local residents. Large items, which are too big for the bins in the garbage room, can be put out on Little Spring Street on the Sunday dates in the link below. 


Accepted: Clothing, furniture, carpet rolls, small appliances, white goods, rugs, linens, cushions, broken toys & sports equipment.


Not accepted: Renovation waste, vanities, liquid waste (paints, oils etc), mirrors or glass, or recyclables such as e-waste.


Heavy or large items: Ask the Concierge when the goods lift is available. Free to use, moving difficult items becomes easier and faster.

Visitor Parking - New Hours  


New visitor parking is now available on Level B1.  The residential contractor parking will be used for visitor or disable parking, and is conveniently located near the lifts. 


Availability

  • Two spaces available
  • Between 4 pm & 12 am Monday - Friday
  • Any time on Saturday,  Sunday and public holidays
  • Maximum parking is 4 hours

  • Fill in a form (link below) or at the at the Concierge desk 
  • No deposit required
  • Exceeding the time limit is not fair to others and may result in losing use of this facility.

Moving Facilities


To keep the foyer and lifts in good condition, all heavy items and equipment must be moved using the Loading Dock and Goods Lift. Using these facilities is free.


Contact the Concierge to: 

  • Move furniture to/from your apartment.  
  • Bring heavy equipment in or out - appliance deliveries, commercial cleaners, etc
  • Move trade equipment to/from your apartment.  


Note:  

OfficeWorks uses the Loading Dock each morning. Delivery or collection is till possible of a heavy or bulky item if the delivery vehicle parks in Little Spring Street and the item is wheeled through the loading dock to the goods lift to reach your floor.

What goes down the chute?


Several garbage chute blockages in recent months have inconvenienced residents with backed-up waste and smells.  

There are three ways to dispose of rubbish:


  • Drop it - Rubbish in bags, bout the size of a small grocery bag can be dropped down the chute. 
  • Bin it - Larger items, coat hangers, glass & plastic bottles and recycling goes into the plastic bins
  • Bring it down - Bring large items, styrofoam and packaging down to the Concierge, to get them out through the loading dock to Little Spring St for the Council Household Cleanup service every two weeks. The dates are in the link below.





Other items

  • Kitty litter or Aluminium coffee capsules - bag this stuff and bring it down to ground. Drop it the appropriate bin just beside the door to the loading dock.
  • Toxic substances - paints, motor vehicle batteries or oils, household cleaners, etc can be taken to the Community Recycling Centre (CRC).

Items in Car Spaces


Only items with wheels are permitted to be stored in car spaces.  The reason is all other items pose a fire or health risk as vermin like rats and cockroaches nest in boxes. 


Residents will be warned of items to be removed. On the third reminder the items will be disposed of by the Building Manager. This includes any items not owned by current occupants or owners, eg. vacated tenants.

Who can use your keys?


The new BuildingLink system will store your instructions for who is permitted to pick up and use your keys to access your apartment.  Please fill in the Authorisation & Indemnity form to provide your instructions to the Building Management team.  


Types of permission:

  • Permanent or ad-hoc (for a cleaner or tradesperson or Property Manager etc.)
  • Update instructions to the Concierge, in writing at any time. 


Spare Keys 

Building Management does not have a master-key to enter apartments in an emergency or someone is locked out. You can leave a spare key set with the Concierge for safe keeping. Tenants should check if their Property Manager has a set which could obtained if they are locked out.

Residents Registration Audit


Building Management, on behalf of the the Owners Corporation. manage Resident Registration and periodically do an audit as part of:


  • Maintaining a current register of Residents and their Security Devices.
  • Ensuring the ongoing security of the building and its Residents.


Building Management requests all Residents (Owners and Tenants) to complete the attached Resident Register Form and return it to Concierge preferably within 7 days (it is essential that you record the Total number of Security Devices in your possession, in the ‘No. of Devices’ section of the Form).


Building Management will deactivate security devices that are not accounted for.

Officeworks Recycling Program


Right next door, Officeworks has a free recycling program to reduce office items from going into landfill. 


Residents can drop items into the green recycling collection units just inside the door: 


  • Batteries - AA, AAA, C, D, 9V, Laptop or mobile phone batteries are accepted. (Drop industrial, commercial or vehicle batteries at the Community Recycling Centre (CRC) in Artarmon where it will be treated properly.)
  • Print cartridges - empty ink & toner cartridges
  • Pens & markers - Any plastic pens, markers or highlighters
  • Mobile phones, batteries and accessories

Recycling Coffee Capsules


How many aluminium coffee capsules do we use each week? Let’s avoid putting them go into landfill. Nespresso makes recycling them easy.  


Head towards the Loading Bay - the Nespresso box is to the right of the Loading Bay door.


  • Only ALUMINIUM capsules please. 
  • Any brand: Illy, Nespresso, L’Or, Vittoria, etc.
  • Adding plastic capsules means Nespresso will discard the whole box as it takes too long to separate them.
  • Dropping off in a plastic bagful is fine - the recycling process can handle this.


Aluminium can by recycled to come back in cars, bikes, metal tools or homewares. Accumulated coffee grounds go into composting systems.

Blocked Drains

Occasionally drains are blocked by the wrong items being flushed.  Thankfully it does not occur frequently but it is expensive for the building, and owners when it does.  Also awfully inconvenient for a Resident if it results in a flood inside a unit.

Leasing out your car space


The Number Plate Recognition system (NPR) is now operating for access to the carpark. If you currently, or plan to lease out a spare car space, you will need to assist the leasing driver to ensure their vehicle is registered to access the carpark.
