Moving into The Alexander?

New Residents

Complete The Alexander Apartments Resident Registration form here. Tenants must also present a copy of the first two pages of their lease.
Firstly, check availability with Concierge before contacting your removalists. Please complete the Move In/Out Booking Form. Also, the bond will be coordinated directly with the Concierge. Moves are permitted only at these times:
  • Mon – Fri: 11am – 4pm
  • Sat: 9am – 4pm
  • Sun: 12pm -4pm
The loading dock’s maximum height is 3.7 meters. On moving day, removalists will park in the Loading Dock and use the Goods Lift. Items cannot be moved through the foyer, main entrance, or other lifts. Read more from By-Law 11 & 12.
New residents must register their vehicle for easy entry via the Number Plate Recognition (NPR) System. If you get a new vehicle, please complete the Resident Registration form again. If you are leasing out your car space, please read the tab below named “Leasing out your Car Space

Residents are encouraged to leave a set of Spare Keys with Concierge. If you find yourself locked out, please contact your real estate agent or a locksmith.

You can also give written consent to authorise friends, family, private cleaners, or tradespersons to use your keys. Must advise Concierge via written consent (email or text message). 

For deliveries of heavy items such as large furniture, fridges, and washing machines, you must notify the Concierge team at least 24 hours in advance.

Heavy item deliveries are permitted at the following times:

  • Mon – Fri: 11am – 4pm
  • Sat: 9am – 4pm
  • Sun: 12pm -4pm
 

The loading dock’s maximum height is 3.7 meters. 

On the delivery day, items must be transported via the Loading Dock and Goods Lifts. If parking in the Loading Dock is unavailable, please park on Little Spring Street.

Acumen Strata handles The Alexander Apartments Strata related tasks, including preparing meeting notices, agendas, and minutes. 

Owners are able to access the Acumen Strata Portal here. If you are unable to login, please contact Acumen Strata at info@acumenstrata.com.au.

Visitor parking is available on B3. Residents must complete the Visitors Parking Booking form here. Parking is limited to 4 hours per apartment during the following times:
  • Mon – Fri: 4pm – 12am
  • Sat – Sun: 24 hours (must vacate by 12am Sunday)
Additionally, North Sydney Council offers Visitor Parking Permits, which can be obtained here.

The maximum height of the Garage is 1.8m

The maximum height of the Loading Dock is 3.7m

The Number Plate Recognition (NPR) system has been implemented for easy vehicle entry. You must register your vehicle, including any new vehicles, via the Resident Registration form here. Fob swipe access remains available for:
  • Motorbikes and cyclists
  • Residents; in case of NPR system interruption
If you lease your car space to a non-resident:
  1. NPR Registration: Help them register by adding their license plate and contact details to the Resident Registration form section 4 & 5.
  2. Fob Notification: If a non-resident is using your fob, inform the Concierge of the fob number located on the back.
  3. Written Consent: Tenants must obtain written consent from their real estate agent or owner to lease out the space.

Residential parking permits for street parking are not available for The Alexander Apartments.

However, Visitors Parking Permits can be obtained from North Sydney Council. Visitors must park in the streets at the north of Berry Street.

There are three ways to manage waste at The Alexander Apartments:

  1. Drop it: Small rubbish bags can be dropped down the garbage chute.
  2. Bin it: Small recyclables go in the plastic bins located at every level. 
  3. Bring it down: Large items, styrofoam, and packing boxes can be brought down to the loading dock.
 

Other items:

  • Cat litter: Bag it and put it in the appropriate bin on the Ground Floor, located beside the door to the Loading Dock.
  • Toxic substances: Take items like paint, vehicle batteries, oils, and household cleaners to the local Community Recycling Centre (CRC) (here).
  • Aluminium Nespresso coffee capsules: Dispose of them in the Nespresso Collection Box, located to the right of the Loading Bay. For more information about the Nespresso Recycling program, see here. 

For access fobs, apartments key, and garage remotes you must contact the Building Manager directly. The general process is a payment via bank transfer, showing proof of payment. Additionally, the resident must collect it in person. 

Acceptable proof of payments includes screenshot or bank transfers or confirmation of payment. 

Contact Concierge for a pet application form. Prior to pet arrival, you need Consent from the Owners Corporation for the nominated pet. If there are any changes, the pet must be the subject of a separate application. Read more from By-Law 8.
